Your files stay with you
Conversion happens in your browser: no file is sent to a server. Very complex documents (columns, shapes, advanced layouts) may differ slightly. A scanned PDF contains an image, not text: the tool then offers text recognition (OCR), which is slower and less accurate, limited to the first 20 pages.
